On Tariffs & Costs
Date: 4/30/2025
To Our Climbing Community,
We'll take the hit. We've made the decision to absorb the increases from these tariffs as long as we can, so you don't have to.
Tariff turbulence covers headlines and prices are rising across the industry; we owe it to you to be transparent about what’s happening and our response.
Simply put, costs won't be passed onto you.
We will stay true to our values as best we can by eating into our own margin, increasing production to make sure we are well stocked during this pause period, and take advantage of reciprocal tariffs reductions that is being negotiated now for our rubber parts made in the USA.
We won't lower the quality, reduce pay, reduce staff, cut corners, increase prices or compromise our traditions.
Our promise: prices will remain as they are for the rest of Spring/Summer.
Over the past week alone, policies have changed multiple times. When Fall/Winter rolls in, we’ll reassess.
Our goal remains the same: keep climbing gear accessible, keep you informed, and do everything we can to hold the line.
"Making good gear isn't hard. Making it affordable, that's the challenge."
